I am doing for this card a Collaboration with JMABC, Jewish Museum and Archives of BC by taking a photo of a synagogue which is a historic site. The synagogue was the original Schara Tzedek Congregation. It was built in 1911 and then it expanded in 1921. In 1948, the building was sold to the Gibbs Boys’ Club and then the Schara Tzedek moved to their current location on Oak Street. In 1987, it was made into condos, and then at that point, the city of Vancouver had installed a plaque marking the building as a historic site. For our collaboration, I am going to donate %30 of my profits to JMABC to support their very important work.
